Agricultural Bearings Features & Application
Agricultural bearings are special sealed ball bearings that are widely used in agricultural machinery. It is specially designed according to the large load transfer of agricultural tillage machinery such as disc ploughs and disc harrows, the easy entry of muddy water into the bearing during the cultivation, and the installation of multiple sets of bearings on the working shaft (plow shaft or boring shaft) at equal distance, with good sealing performance, good self-aligning performance, as well as high load carrying capacity, and it is easy to install and disassemble. The structure of the agricultural machinery bearing is very special. The inner bore can be a cylindrical shape, a square shape or a hexagonal shape; while the outer ring can be a cylindrical shape, a spherical shape, or a cylindrical spherical mixed shape. Some bearings also have square or round punched bearing housings, which can simplify the mainframe structure and facilitate the installation and removal of the bearings. The sealing ring structure of the agricultural bearing is very special. It is a large contact-type sealing ring with a three-layer rubber lip, which not only blocks the entry of dirt and sand outside the bearing, but also prevents the loss of grease inside the bearing, and the sealing performance is very good.
In general, there are two main aspects effecting the choice of bearings: First, choose the type of bearing. Generally consider the load rating, direction, whether there is impact, high and low speed, alignment requirements, space and other factors. The second is to choose the accuracy of the bearing. The mechanical type and mechanical accuracy requirements should be considered. There are many types of agricultural machinery, the general situation is poor working conditions, and the field work is particularly bad. Therefore, the choice of bearing type is very important, which directly affects the reliability index of the working machinery. Accuracy does not need to be as demanding as precision machinery, which is determined by the nature of agricultural machinery operation.
