ISUTAMI SME open linear bearing pillow block, also known as SME open type linear bearing unit, SME open type linear slide unit or SME open type linear case housing (unit), is suitable for the Asian market. It consists of an open aluminum housing with 4 fixing holes at the bottom and a matching LM-OP open type linear bearing. There are two circlips at both ends of the unit, and iron pieces for fastening linear bearings on both sides of the top opening. There are usually two rubber seals (UU) at both ends of the linear bearing to prevent debris or contamination of ball bearing. In addition, the aluminum casing is small and light, and has strong corrosion resistance.

SME Linear Bearing Pillow Block Features

The SME standard open-type linear bearing housing is an open, single-Asian metric version. The LM-OP open linear bearing is mounted inside the housing. The advantages of the linear bushing include less tilt or friction, which leads to Less wear and better processing results over time.

If you are manufacturing CNC milling machines, milling machines or lathes that require precise linear motion, it is a perfect solution to install this aluminum bearing housing with LM-OP open linear bearings. Aluminum housing size range: length (L) ranges 32-110mm; width (W) ranges 36-120mm; height (F) ranges 24-92mm; minimum size item SME10 (linear bearing inner diameter 10mm), the combination size is 32*36*24mm, the largest size item SME50 is 110*120*92mm, and the product size error is between±0.02mm. These data are basically the same as KBE open type linear bearing pillow block. The aluminum housing has four CNC drilled holes, threaded holes and countersunk holes of the same size, M5-M10, which can be easily and safely mounted to almost any linear motion system.

The typical CNC system includes the matched SBR shaft support rail. The linear bearing opening angle (θ) ranges from 50° to 80°, and the diameter range is 10-50mm. The open bearing housing opening is oriented toward the shaft support rail, inserting from either end of the support, and the bearing housing with linear bearing runs along the shaft. Most CNC machines have two such components mounted side-by-side, using a housing as a stand to support the mobile platform. Positioning and accuracy enhancement is facilitated by being used as a side aspect of the datum.
