ISUTAMI SW standard linear bearings, also known as SW standard linear ball bearings or SW standard linear bushing bearings. SW is the imperial series, mainly used in the markets of the UK and other British Commonwealth of Nations.

The bushing and steel ball of SW standard linear bearing is made of high carbon bearing steel, and the ball retainer is made of metal steel, stainless steel or POM material. The retaining ring, also called sealing ring, usually indicated by U or P, is made of NBR material. The ball retainer is mounted inside the bushing together with the steel balls, and sealed from one or both sides of the bushing by sealing ring.

Standard Linear Bearing SW Features

The outer bushing surface of linear bearing is completely seamless and has two outer stop grooves for fixing the bearing bushing into the block. The number of ball rows varies according to size and ranges from 4-6 columns. Especially, the number of rows for SW16 steel retainers is 5, and the number of rows for engineering plastic retainers is 6; The inner diameter (dr) range is 1/4''-2'', and diameter tolerance range varies with the inner diameter, mainly divided into three sections: -0.009~0mm, -0.010~0mm, -0.012~0mm;

The outer diameter (D) range is 1/2''-3'', and diameter tolerance range varies with the outer diameter, mainly divided into five intervals:-0.011~0mm, -0.013~0mm, -0.016~0mm, -0.019 ~0mm, -0.022~0mm;

The length (L) range is 3/4''-4'', and its tolerance range varies with length, mainly divided into two intervals: -0.2 to 0 mm and -0.3 to 0 mm;

The maximum radial eccentricity is divided into four grades of 0.012mm, 0.015mm, 0.02mm and 0.025mm according to different sizes;
The basic dynamic load rating (C) ranges from 21 to 390 kgf (basic rated life is 50 km);
The basic static load (Co) range is 27-810kgf (basic rated life is 50km).

The above data is same as SW-AJ adjustment type linear bearing. (Specific parameters are shown in the table) SW standard linear bearings are generally mounted to SWA standard linear housings, SWA-L long type linear housings, SWB standard linear housings and SWB extended standard linear housings for use with linear axes, and can be replaced by SSW super standard Linear bearings.

Unlike ordinary ball bearings, the basic dynamic load rating of SW standard linear bearings is less than the basic static load rating, and this difference is significantly widened as the size increases.

Different from the plastic linear bearing, the metal SW standard linear bearing movement principle is rolling friction, the point contact between the bushing and the shaft through the steel balls. Steel ball rotates with very small frictional resistance, so that high-precision smooth motion can be obtained, which is suitable for low-load and high-speed motion systems. In addition, rotational motion is not suitable for the linear bearing structure.

Maintenance of linear bearings: Inject the anti-corrosion oil into the linear bearings. If lubricating with grease, firstly remove the anti-corrosion oil by kerosene or organic solvent, and add grease after drying.

Please be aware that the drop or knock of the linear bushing may cause damage. When it is impacted, the function may be damaged even if the appearance does not appear to be. Please note any decomposition of the linear bearing may result in the entry of foreign matter or adversely affect the assembly accuracy.
