ISUTAMI SWA standard linear bearing pillow block, also known as SWA standard linear bearing unit, SWA standard linear slide unit or SWA standard linear case housing (unit), is a product suitable for the imperial unit market. It consists of a closed aluminum housing with 4 fixing holes and a matching SW standard linear bearing or SSW super linear bearing. The unit has two circlips with a semicircular arch in the middle of the top. There are also two rubber seals (UU) at both ends of the linear bearing to prevent debris or ball bearing contamination. In addition, the aluminum casing is small and light, and has high corrosion resistance.

SWA Linear Bearing Pillow Block Features

SWA standard linear case housing is a closed, single length inch version that is fitted with an SW standard linear bearing or an SSW super linear bearing. The closed bearing design of the housing allows for cost reduction by using the end support shaft. The advantage of a linear bushing is inexpensive to produce and is used in an infinite travel. When the loading ball contacts the shaft at a certain point, the bearing capacity of the bearing application is very small. High-precision horizontal movement can be got by rotating the ball with very little frictional resistance.

When manufacturing CNC milling machines, milling machines or lathes that require precise linear motion, it is a perfect solution to install this aluminum bearing housing with SW standard linear bearings or SSW super linear bearings. Aluminum casing size range: length (L) ranges 42.88-127mm; width (W) ranges 50.8-152.4mm; height (F) ranges 28.58-92.08mm; the minimum item SWA8 combination size is 42.88*50.8*28.58mm, the maximum item SWA32 combined size is 127*152.4*92.08mm. The length and width data are the same as the SWB standard linear pillow block. The aluminum housing has four CNC drilled holes, tapped holes and countersunk holes of the same size (S) range of 3.94-10.31mm, which can be easily and safely mounted to almost any system.

A typical CNC system consists of a linear shaft of matching diameter, with a shaft diameter ranging from 12.7 to 50.8 mm, mounted on both ends of the shaft by two end supports, and a linear bearing unit with linear bearings running along the shaft. Most CNC machines have two such components mounted side-by-side, using a housing as a stand to support the mobile platform. The housing can be mounted from above or below, making it easy to install into the intended system. Positioning and accuracy enhancement is facilitated by being used as a side aspect of the datum. The extruded aluminum housing is subjected to sufficient extrusion and heat treatment to create a compact, lightweight and precision product. Considered by many to be the default choice for linear motion applications, the round shaft reticulating linear ball bearing pillow block is a tried and tested option suitable for most linear motion applications.
