SWD-L Linear Bearing Pillow Block Features
The SWD-L long adjustment housing is an open, single-length metric version. Two SW-OP open linear bearings or two SSW-OP super open linear bearings are mounted in the housing. Due to the adjustment clearance on the bearing housing, the linear bearing installation is easier. The advantages of linear bushings include less tilt or friction, which results in less wear and better machining results over time.
If you are manufacturing CNC milling machines, milling machines or lathes that require precise linear motion, it is a perfect solution to install this aluminum bearing housing with SW-OP open linear bearing or SSW-OP super open linear bearing. Aluminum housing size range: length (L) ranges 88.9-254mm; width (W) ranges 53-152.4mm; height (F) ranges 28.5-91.96mm; the minimum item SWD8L (supporting SW8OP open linear bearing or SSW8OP super open linear bearing), its combined size is 88.9*53*28.5mm, and the combined size of the largest item SWD32L (supporting SW32OP open linear bearing or SSW32OP super open linear bearing) is 254*152.4*91.96mm. The aluminum housing has four CNC drilled holes, tapped holes and countersunk holes of the same size with a diameter (S) ranging from 3.96 to 10.31 mm.
The typical CNC system includes the matching
STBR shaft rail. The vertical bearing opening angle (θ) of the SWD adjustable open-type linear bearing pillow block is constant at 60°, the diameter range is 12.7-50.8mm, and the bearing housing opening faces the shaft rail. In the direction of the base, it fits in from one end of the shaft support rail, and the bearing housing with linear bearing runs along the shaft. Most CNC machines have two such components mounted side-by-side, using a bearing housing as a bracket to support the mobile platform, especially if the extended housing can carry a larger size worktable. Positioning and accuracy enhancement are facilitated by being used as a side aspect of the datum.
