1. Where press is not available or not available, bearing can be installed with assembly sleeve and hammer. The hammering force should be transmitted evenly to the whole circumference of the end face of the cheap rod end
joint bearing ring, so the end face of the assembly casing hammered should be spherical.
2. The force required to install cheap rod end
joint bearings is related to the size of the joint bearings and the size of the fit interference. For medium-sized or large-sized joint bearings with larger interference, the hot-fitting method is commonly used. Before hot charging, put the bearing or separated joint bearing ring into the oil tank or special heater and heat it evenly to 80-100 C, not more than 100 C.
3. Hot-loaded and cheap rod end
joint bearings require skilled operation skills. When the joint bearing is removed from the heating tank or heater, the oil marks and attachments on the surface of the joint bearing should be wiped off immediately with a clean cloth, then placed in front of the matching surface, and the joint bearing should be pushed to the place where it is held against the shoulder in one operation. During the cooling process, it should always be pushed tightly, or the joint bearing should be tightened by tapping the assembly sleeve with a hammer. When installing the end, the joint bearing should be slightly rotated to avoid dumping or jamming.
4. When the outer ring and shell hole of the cheap rod end
joint bearing are tightly matched, the shell can also be heated and loaded into the joint bearing. In particular, light metal joint bearings, in the process of tight fitting, may cause damage to the mating surface due to its outer ring pressing. In this case, the bearing should be heated first.
